BOMA - Greater Tampa Bay is a non-profit, volunteer association for representatives of the commercial building industry. An affiliate of BOMA International, BOMA – Greater Tampa Bay is well-known for its continuous contribution to maintaining the ethics and standards of the commercial real estate profession. Working together, members of BOMA - Greater Tampa Bay have established a respected network and valued resource for information, communication, legislative information, education and training.

Membership in the local Chapter offers you:
Membership Meetings. Luncheon meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at various locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. Each luncheon is an educational or informational experience with speakers who address every aspect of the commercial building industry. Luncheon meetings are your opportunity to meet new people, renew old acquaintances, exchange ideas, and establish business contacts.
Newsletter. The BOMA News is a quarterly newsletter which provides useful information including feature articles and regular columns of interest to the membership. Advertising is also encouraged in “BOMA News” for those companies who want the competitive edge.
Education. BOMA - Greater Tampa Bay offers Real Property Administration (RPA), Systems Maintenance Administration (SMA) and Facilities Management Administration (FMA) course, each leading to a highly respected designation. These college level courses are designed for Property Managers, Asset Managers and Maintenance and Operations Personnel who want to further their knowledge and improve their level of professionalism.
Standard Telecommunications Agreement.
BOMA Greater Tampa Bay working with key telecommunication representatives has
developed a Standard Telecommunications Agreement for building owners and
managers to use when negotiating Telecommunications access for their tenants.
This document can be used as a tool in
developing building owner specific agreements. It is not copyrighted and can be
used in whole or part as desired by the building owner or their legal counsel.
BOMA Greater Tampa Bay worked diligently to create a document that will assist
owners and managers in successfully executing an agreement that is equitable

Legislative Representation. BOMA - Greater Tampa Bay monitors local and state legislative activities, while BOMA International is concerned with issues affecting the industry nationwide.
Social Functions. BOMA socials are held throughout the year for members and guests. These socials are your chance to meet new people and join fellow members in a relaxed environment.
Committee Involvement. Membership in BOMA - Greater Tampa Bay provides you a means of becoming involved in the total organization through participation in one of its committees: Education, Membership, Communication, Programs, Market Conditions, Government Affairs, Finance and Planning, Associate/Allied, and Awards. We welcome your ideas, expertise and involvement.
Experience Exchange Report (EER). BOMA International’s Annual EER publishes tables of operating income and expense data for office buildings throughout North America.
