BOMA GTB News: November/December 2017
President's Message
Congratulations and a hearty welcome are in order for the three additional Board Members who joined the team at our Annual Meeting on October 25th: Michelle Cummings, Steffanie Harris and David Goldman. We also welcomed current Board Member, Sarah Nettles, to the Executive Committee as Secretary. Our Board operates under 2-year terms with a term limit of two consecutive terms with the exception of those who move onto the Executive Committee to continue their leadership progression.
Let’s give a big shout out to the TOBY Awards Committee for organizing such a fantastic event to highlight the management efforts of so many of our members at last week’s TOBY Awards at the beautiful Mosaic Center at the Florida Aquarium. It was an honor and a pleasure to be among so many deserving property management teams.
All pomp and circumstance aside, my personal favorite event of the year for our organization is coming up on December 6th at Metropolitan Ministries where we have the privilege of helping others before or after our membership lunch. You can sign up for a 3-hour volunteer spot in the morning, afternoon, or all day for those who are able; click here to register. Hope to see everyone there.
As we enter the busy holiday season, I’d like to express my thanks to the many volunteers who make BOMA Greater Tampa Bay the premier organization for education, networking and advocacy for commercial property managers.
TOBY Awards
What a fabulous event! Thank you to all our Property Managers and their teams who entered their buildings, all our generous sponsors and our attendees. A special thanks to our co-chairs Leigh Kendall and Carol Dunn as well as the entire TOBY Committee for helping to make the evening a success.
