UV-C lighting

We will discuss how UV-C light has long been known as a way to disinfect and clean.  In the presentation we'll learn about why & how UV-C is able to provide surface disinfection, common uses, and new applications for UV-C and the need for UV-C coil cleaning & air stream disinfection.  In addition, we'll understand the advantages of UV Coil cleaning over normal mechanical cleaning, existing and new technologies (Photocatalytic Oxidation) on the market to make sure you pick what is right for your building.

Our speaker: Leandro de la Torriente.   Leandro is the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Ultraviolet Devices, an innovator in the ultraviolet germicidal irradiation industry.  He brings nearly fifteen years of system sales engineering experience from Carrier, Honeywell, IMI Flow Design, and UVDI.  He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Georgia Tech.  Throughout his tenure, he has been able to help design & work closely with the engineering community in planning airside systems, control systems, and hydronic systems.  Working with different stakeholders through design & troubleshooting these separate systems has given Leandro the unique understanding of how the overall building behaves and how each systems impacts individual components.  Although new to UVDI, he has quickly become a subject matter expert in ultraviolet germicidal irradiation and photocatalytic oxidation
