Electrical Safety & Arc Flash:  A Survivor's Story - featuring Don Johnson

This is not the typical "Safety Presentation".  Don Johnson is the Service Department Manager for Borrell Electric Company.   On Thursday, August 12, 2004, Don almost lost his life in an electrical explosion or arc flash and blast.  He survived third degree burns down to the muscle on both arms and hands along with second degree burns to his face and neck.  He endured almost two years of recovery from the burns, infections, reactions to medications, surgeries and physical rehabilitation.  Don uses both his own personal experiences before, during and since the accident to provide an example and inform others of the consequences of not following safety procedures.
